NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - WINNER OF THE AGATHA AWARD FOR BEST HISTORICAL NOVEL - NAMED ONE OF THE TEN BEST MYSTERIES OF THE YEAR BY THE SEATTLE TIMES

Laurie R. King's novels of suspense featuring Mary Russell and her husband, Sherlock Holmes, are critically acclaimed and beloved by readers for the author's adept interplay of history and adventure. Now the intrepid duo is finally trying to take a little time for themselves--only to be swept up in a baffling case that will lead them from the idyllic panoramas of Japan to the depths of Oxford's most revered institution.

After a lengthy case that had the couple traipsing all over India, Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes are on their way to California to deal with some family business that Russell has been neglecting for far too long. Along the way, they plan to break up the long voyage with a sojourn in southern Japan. The cruising steamer Thomas Carlyle is leaving Bombay, bound for Kobe. Though they're not the vacationing types, Russell is looking forward to a change of focus--not to mention a chance to travel to a location Holmes has not visited before. The idea of the pair being on equal footing is enticing to a woman who often must race to catch up with her older, highly skilled husband.

Aboard the ship, intrigue stirs almost immediately. Holmes recognizes the famous clubman the Earl of Darley, whom he suspects of being an occasional blackmailer: not an unlikely career choice for a man richer in social connections than in pounds sterling. And then there's the lithe, surprisingly fluent young Japanese woman who befriends Russell and quotes haiku. She agrees to tutor the couple in Japanese language and customs, but Russell can't shake the feeling that Haruki Sato is not who she claims to be.

Once in Japan, Russell's suspicions are confirmed in a most surprising way. From the glorious city of Tokyo to the cavernous library at Oxford, Russell and Holmes race to solve a mystery involving international extortion, espionage, and the shocking secrets that, if revealed, could spark revolution--and topple an empire.

I loved this sunscreen! Does not irritate.
Size: 1.8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Color: Matte
My skin is medium/dark tan with pink undertone and is sensitive/ rash prone. I purchased this because it was listed on folliculitisscout.com as a sunscreen that does not cause skin irritation. It does not irritate at all and does not have any ingredients that would flare eczema / rosacea/ psoriasis/seborrheic acne/ etc. This sunscreen is very much like a sheer foundation. ( I chose matte) I was afraid it might look too much like makeup, which I really didn't want. I wanted a natural look without having the ghost pale look of sunscreen. This was perfect for my skin. Blended in perfectly without looking like sunscreen or makeup. It has a very nice finish. It is described as matte, but I would call it a natural finish, not too overly matte. I took five different face sunscreens on my most recent vacation and ended up using only this. It is pricey but good! I will be wearing this all summer.

Great quality sunscreen!
Size: 1.8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Color: Original
I love this brand of sunscreen for the face. Colorscience Classic goes on smooth and blends in with my natural fair coloring. It protects my skin well. I use it every day since my dermatologist kept reminding how important it is to protect my skin.

BEST MAKEUP EVERRRR!!!
Size: 1.8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Color: Original
Love this! Blends into natural skin color so well. Coverage is great without looking cakey or like heavy makeup but evens out skin tone and lasts all day. Doesn’t dry my skin. I’m 50+ and don’t even use moisturizer before applying. Apply with fingers and use a brush with powder and again, lasts all day! I don’t use anything else. However I do NOT like their color sciencepowder. It’s horrible. But I love the Younique pressed powder with it. Bought on a whim to get spf and so glad I did. Tried It brand and some others and none compares!

Almost a home run
Size: 1.8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Color: Original
Initially I really loved how this sunscreen made my skin look. The tint provided enough coverage to even my skin tone and hide my remaining melasma. It gives a very nice glow that doesn’t look too greasy. I have dry skin, and this was moisturizing enough for summer; although I would probably need a moisturizer first in winter. After using this product for many weeks however, I realized that it leaves residue on my hair making it feel chalky and dry. I’ve tried different techniques of washing my hands really well after so I don’t spread residue to my hair when I fix it, but I found it still made it’s way into my bangs. I even tried pulling my hair back and wait an hour before putting it down but inevitably my hair got this dirty chalky feel to it. It makes me feel dirty which is enough to deter me from wanting to use it exclusively. I wanted to use a tinted physical sunscreen to stop the pigmentation to my melasma, but I just prefer how chemical sunscreens feel. I started to use this over my cheekbones after I apply my chemical sunscreen to help deflect blue light, but I think going forward I’ll just purchase a more affordable option if it is going to be used on such a small area.

Very nice mineral sunscreen. Easy to apply, long lasting and effective. Very pricey, good to get it on Prime Day.
