Citrine is one of November's birthstones and makes a great birthday gift for November babes.  

The natural citrine stones are cut in a faceted oval shape and have a deep golden color to them.  They sparkle beautifully in the light along with the shimmering hammered gold leaves beneath.
They are securely wire wrapped with 14kt gold filled wire and attached to hand-formed ear wires, also in 14kt gold fill.

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED? 
14kt gold filled is a layer of solid 14kt gold (gold alloy) bonded to a jeweler's brass core.
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating - Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated. All it would take is one small scratch on a gold-plated piece to expose the jeweler’s brass underneath.

This is such an attractive suit for a tween boy! My son loves dressing up, and this is his new favorite suit.
